SWOT Overview

SWOT

SWOT originally was used by organiztions to evaluate the influence of enterprise envirionmental forces (EEF). The SWOT represents both the internal and external forces. Although many begin their SWOT analysis as a SWOT table in four quadrants, experts branch off to other frameworks (e.g.: VRIO, PESTLE, Porter's Six Forces) to do a deeper analysis into these internal and external forces summarizing their findings for SWOT. Subsequently, this SWOT summary sis used as part of the entrprise risk management (Portfolio, Program, Product, Project, Process, and People) management to prepare for the future state.
